SpiderOak raises $16.4 million in Series C funding round – Cybersecurity specialist SpiderOak raised $16.4 million in a Series C investment round led by Empyrean Technology Solutions, a space technology platform affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm.

Method Capital and OCA Ventures participated in the round.

Welcome Homes Raises $29M in Series A Funding RoundWelcome Homes, a New York City-based Proptech company that delivers luxurious homes at a guaranteed price in just a few clicks, is announcing today that it’s raised more than $29M in Series A funding led by Era Ventures. The new funding will be used to hire talent to further develop Welcome Homes’ proprietary land technology, design new home models, and expand into new markets throughout the U.S.

“Welcome Homes is a one-stop-shop for building the perfect home. You get this beautiful house that you can design online, and six months after permitting, you have it in real life without necessarily having to be really involved with the process,” said customer Daniel S., who built his vacation home in Woodstock, New York, using Welcome Homes.

CyberX Closes $15M Series A+ Funding RoundCyberX, a Singapore-based market maker for digital assets, raised $15M in Series A+ funding.

The round was led by Foresight Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its team in Asia and North America, integrate more exchanges and DeFi protocols into its liquidity network, and strengthen its trading infrastructure to further improve liquidity and pricing for its partners and clients. 

Rapid Silicon raises $30 million in series A funding – Rapid Silicon, a provider of AI and intelligent edge-focused FPGAs based on open-source technology, has raised USD 30 million Series A Round.

The company has closed USD 15 million in funding from Cambium Capital and others, including all existing investors from its seed round. The second close is planned for Q1 2023. 

B2B wholesale platform ApnaKlub raises $16 mn in Series A funding round – ApnaKlub, the B2B wholesale platform for fast-moving consumer goods, has raised a total of $16 million in a series A round of funding. This comes after ApnaKlub raised $10 million from Tiger Global in late 2022. ApnaKlub has raised $20 million till date.

The additional funding has come from TrueScale Capital and ICMG Partners, with participation from Flourish Ventures, Sequoia India’s Surge, Blume Ventures, and Whiteboard Capital.

No Meat Factory Secures $42 Million Series B FundingNo Meat Factory, a leading plant-based alternative protein manufacturer, today announced it has closed a Series B funding round totaling $42 million USD. New investor Tengelmann Growth Partners led the round, with participation from existing investor Emil Capital Partners (ECP) who initially invested during company formation in 2019. With this latest funding round, No Meat Factory plans to expand its production footprint in North America and build out its manufacturing capabilities to service the global market, increasing access to affordable alternative proteins for mainstream consumers. No Meat Factory will also continue to make significant investments in its global research and development organization that focuses on commercializing the latest innovations in alternative protein.

Rural commerce tech platform VilCart raises $18 Mn in Series A round – Bengaluru-based VilCart, a rural-economy-focused technology startup, has raised $18 million in its Series A round led by Asia Impact SA. Nabventures Fund and Texterity Private Limited also participated in the round.

With the new investment, VilCart plans to expand its operations to entire South India by 2024
