NORTHSTAR RAISES $47 MILLION CAD SERIES C ROUND FOR EXPECTED SATELLITE LAUNCH IN MID-2023 – Montréal-based startup NorthStar Earth & Space, which develops navigation and tracking solutions for earth observation and objects in orbit, has raised $47 million CAD ($35 million USD) in Series C funding.

PreAct Technologies lands $14M Series B – Portland sensor technology startup PreAct Technologies raised a $14 million Series B round that will help the company expand beyond its current automotive industry customers. 

The round was led by new investor I Squared Capital. Existing backers State Farm Ventures, Luminate and Traylor Capital also participated.

Aussie adventure tech start-up Milo snags $12m in funding – An Australian-founded adventure-technology start-up backed by the iPhone manufacturing giant Foxconn has just closed its Series A funding round for $12 million, taking its total funding to date to $18 million.

The company, Loose Cannon Systems, makes the hands-free communicator Milo, which adventure-sports enthusiasts can clip to their clothes or equipment, allowing groups of up to six users to speak to each other while they’re skiing, mountain biking or doing any other sport that typically takes both hands.

KreditBee Raises $100 Million

Fintech platform KreditBee on Friday said it has raised $100 million (about Rs 827 crore), as an extension of its Series D funding round, from private equity investor Advent International.
