New round of funding to bolster new expansion plans beyond the Southeast Asia region – in North Asia and the Middle East
SINGAPORE, Sept. 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Singapore-based Docquity, Southeast Asia’s largest community of healthcare professionals, announced today that it has raised a total of US$44 million in its Series C financing round, led by existing investor Japan’s Itochu Corporation with US$32 million.
ID verification platform Alloy raises $52m in Series C extension round – Lightspeed Venture Partners and Avenir Growth led the extension round, with existing investors Canapi Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Avid Ventures and Felicis Ventures also participating.
Last year, Alloy became a unicorn after landing an initial $100 million in Series C funding, which took the firm’s valuation to $1.35 billion.
Networking platform for doctors in Asia scores $44M in Series C funding –

Docquity, a Singapore-based online networking platform for healthcare professionals, has snapped up $44 million in a Series C funding round led by Japanese general trading firm Itochu Corporation. Other investors including iGlobe Partners, Alkemi, Global Brain, KDV and Infocom also participated in the round.
This brings its total funds raised since its inception to $57.5 million.
Virtual fertility clinic raises €17m in Series B round – Apricity, a virtual fertility clinic, has raised €17 million in a Series B round led by MTIP, the Swiss healthtech investor, with participation from Barcelona-based specialist consumer fund Iris Ventures.
Liefergrün raises €12m in Series A funding round –
Germany based sustainable last mile delivery company Liefergrün has had €12 million of Series A funding raised.
The carrier posted on its LinkedIn page, “We are very excited to welcome new investors eCAPITAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTNERS and a prominent German family office, who trust in us and our vision. We are equally happy that our existing investors Speedinvest and Norrsken VC are doubling down on their initial investment demonstrating confidence in Liefergrün’s business model.”
Neurofenix has raised US$7 million in Series A funding via a round led by AlbionVC, with additional participation from HTH, InHealth Ventures, and existing investors, according to a company press release.
The release notes that this will enable Neurofenix to build out its product line and invest in US expansion, including funding US clinical trials.
Craft Docs Raises $12M in Series B Funding –
Craft Docs, a Budapest, Hungary-based document management company, raised $12M in Series B funding.
The round was led by EBRD Venture Capital, with participation from Creandum and InReach Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to continue scaling up their user base, strengthening their position within the collaborative document market for personal and business customers, and enabling companies to manage their day-to-day workflow, and create and share docs.

Raftt raises $5 million for creating and sharing development environments –
Israeli startup Raftt, which has developed a cloud-based platform for creating and sharing development environments, announced on Monday that it has raised $5 million in Seed funding.
The $5 million Seed round was led by Aleph VC and Cardumen Capital. A number of private investors from the industry participated in the round, including serial entrepreneurs Ariel Maislos and Benny Schneider, devtools angel investors, Adi Sharabani, founder of Skycure and currently at Snyk, and Ariel Asraf, CEO of Coralogix.
