Bachan’s Completes $13 Million Series A Funding Round Led by Sonoma Brands Capital – SEBASTOPOL, Calif., Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Bachan’s, an authentic Japanese Barbecue Sauce brand led by founder and CEO Justin Gill, is announcing a $13 million Series A funding round led by private equity firm Sonoma Brands Capital. Existing investor Prelude Growth Partners and New Fare Partners also participated in the round, along with prominent Asian American personalities, such as RVCA founder and president, Pat Tenore, and American filmmaker, Destin Daniel Cretton. The transaction underscores strong investor confidence in Bachan’s continued success and growth trajectory, and the investment will further accelerate Bachan’s rapid retail expansion, team, and product innovation.

EnviroSpark Closes Series A Funding Round

EnviroSpark, an Atlanta, GA-based electric vehicle (EV) charging company, closed its Series A funding round of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Ultra Capital, which has joined EnviroSpark’s Board of Directors along with Paul Bowers, former Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Georgia Power who also invested in the funding round.

Nutromics Raises $14M in Pre-Series A Funding Round

NEW YORK – Australian health technology startup Nutromics said on Thursday that it has raised $14 million in its pre-Series A funding round, bringing the company’s money raised to date to over $20 million.

Investors in this round included Dexcom Ventures, VU Venture Partners, and Artesian Investments, Nutromics said, and the funding will support the expansion of clinical studies, R&D team, and investment across both its Australian and US hubs.

The round was led by Pelion Ventures with participation from existing investors Kleiner Perkins and Upfront Ventures. This increases Open Raven’s total funding to date to $40M. Jeff Kearl, Partner at Pelion, joined Open Raven’s Board of Directors along with Seksom Suriyapa from Upfront Ventures.
