Finwave Semiconductor Raises $12.2M Series A Funding Round to Advance the Ultimate Transistor for 5G – WALTHAM, Mass., July 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 3DGaNTM (Gallium Nitride) innovators Finwave Semiconductor, Inc.ctor, Inc. today announced a $12.2 million Series A funding round led by Fine Structure Ventures with additional participation from Citta Capital, Soitec, Safar Partners and Alumni Ventures. The Series A follows an award of $4.3 million in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Energy Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) SCALEUP (Seeding Critical Advances for Leading Energy technologies with Untapped Potential) grant, to help bring the company’s technology to volume production. 

Nash Raises $20M in Series A Funding

Nash, a San Francisco, CA-based delivery orchestration platform provider, raised $20M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with support from Y Combinator and Rackhouse Venture Capital. 

Fly.io Raises $12M in Series A; $25M in Series B =

Fly.io, a Chicago, IL-based application delivery network company, raised $12M in Series A funding and $25M in Series B funding.

The Series A funding was led by Intel Capital while Series B funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz. Other participants in the latest Series B round included Dell Technologies Capital, Initialized Capital, and Planetscale CEO Sam Lambert. Intel Capital’s Senior Managing Director Nick Washburn joined the company’s board of directors following the Series A round to help accelerate the company’s growth.

Diagnostic Robotics closes $45M Series B Funding Round – BOSTON, July 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Diagnostic Robotics, a leading provider of Artificial Intelligence & Care Management solutions for Healthcare plans and providers, today announced the closing of a $45M Series B funding round led by StageOne investors, with participation from Mayo Clinic, thus becoming a Mayo Clinic Platform portfolio company. Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, as well as other existing investors. Strategic angel investor Bradley Bloom, co-founder of Berkshire Partners, participated in this funding round as well.

Ag tech startup Verility closes $3.5 million Series A funding round to further develop livestock fertility analysis platformVerility Inc., led by co-founder and CEO Liane Hart, has closed Series A funding worth $3.5 million. The round was led by Mountain Group Partners of Nashville, Tennessee, and includes a previous investment from Purdue Foundry.
