Rhaeos Raises $10.5M in Series A Funding to Launch Novel Hydrocephalus Shunt Monitor and Accelerate Pipeline Product Development – Rhaeos®, Inc. (Rhaeos), a clinical stage medical device company focused on addressing an unmet need in the care of people with hydrocephalus, today announced the successful closing of $10.5 million in Series A funding led by the Steele Foundation for Hope, bringing Rhaeos’ total funding to date to more than $18 million. Other round participants include follow-on investors, Creative Ventures and Lateral Capital. The funding will be used to support the in-hospital launch of the FlowSense® shunt monitor, a wireless, non-invasive thermal sensor that rapidly monitors shunt function in people with hydrocephalus. The funding will also accelerate the development of the company’s pipeline products, including an at-home version of the FlowSense shunt monitor, and establish a path to better serve people with hydrocephalus in vulnerable communities worldwide.

Diversity, equity and inclusion technology firm Kanarys scores $5 million in Series A funding – Kanarys, a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging technology company, announced today that it has raised $5 million in a Series A financing round led by Chicago-based venture capital firm Seyen Capital, according to a news release.
Dallas-based Kanarys has now raised $10.5 million in capital to date. According to the release, with this close, co-founder and CEO Mandy Price joins a group of less than 20 Black female founders who have raised more than $10 million.
SaaS startup NimbleS2P raises Rs 4 Cr in pre-Series A round – SaaS platform NimbleS2P has raised Rs 4 crore in its pre-Series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The round also saw participation from other micro-venture catalysts and angel investors.
The proceeds will be used for sales, marketing, partner relations, and product development, the company said in a press release.
Dronamics raises $40 million in pre-Series A funding – Dronamics, the world’s first cargo drone airline with license to operate in Europe, today announced that it has raised a total of $40 million in pre-Series A funding from venture capital funds and angel investors from 12 countries as the company approaches its upcoming Series A round.
This amount includes funds received from Founders Factory, Speedinvest, Eleven Capital, and most recently the Strategic Development Fund (SDF), the investment arm of the Tawazun Council, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
