Investmint Raises $2 Million In Seed Funding – Investmint, a signal-based do-it-yourself trading and investing platform for retail investors, has raised $2 million in Seed funding led by Nexus Venture Partners, along with participation from other prominent angel investors. The company’s Investmint trading and investing app, which is currently in open Beta with early adopters, will be widely launched within the next few weeks. The fund raised will be used to expand its product, engineering, and quantitative research teams to create a world-class retail investing product.

Passiv Closes $2.2 Million USD Seed Round to Build SnapTrade: A Unified API for Aggregating Trading AccountsPassiv, the Atlantic Canadian fintech company known for their portfolio management software that caters to retail investors, has closed a $2.2 million USD seed round. This round follows the company’s graduation from Y Combinator, a three-month startup accelerator program that supported the company in their growth with their new infrastructure product, SnapTrade and invested in the company alongside Mistral Venture PartnersUncorrelated VenturesNew Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), East Valley Ventures and several other angel investors.

ChainSafe Raises US$18.75 Million in Series A Funding to Accelerate Web3 AdoptionChainSafe Systems, one of the world’s top blockchain infrastructure firms, announced today that it has secured US$18.75 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round. The investment was led by Round13 with participation from new investors NGC VenturesHashKey CapitalSfermionJsquare, and returning investors Digital Finance Group, and Fenbushi Capital. Concurrent with the funding round, Khaled Verjee, Managing Partner of Round13’s Digital Asset Fund, is joining ChainSafe’s board of directors alongside founding members and current board member Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder of ConsenSys Mesh – a long time investor and supporter of ChainSafe.

Orbex raises Series C round – Orbex has raised $45.8 million in a new funding round as the U.K. company gears up for the first flight of its small launch vehicle in 2023.

Orbex announced Oct. 18 that it raised 40.4 million pounds ($45.8 million) in a Series C round led by the Scottish National Investment Bank, a new investor in the company. Several other new and existing investors joined the round.

The round is led by global software investor Insight Partners and joined by other leading firms including CoatueBessemer Venture Partners, IVP, Foundation Capital, Founders Circle Capital, HubSpot Ventures and more. The funding will be used to further invest in the product, improve the customer experience, and bring Jasper to all the platforms creators use. The funding follows on the heels of the addition of Jasper Art, text-to-image generation functionality. The company’s newest innovation is a browser extension that allows Jasper to power every textbox on virtually any site.

NorthOne bags $67m in Series B funding round – New York-based challenger NorthOne has raised $67 million in a Series B funding round.

The round featured participation from a number of new and existing investors including Battery Ventures, Ferst Capital Partners, FinTLV, Next Play Capital, Operator Stack, Redpoint Ventures and Tencent.

SphitiCap Leads $5 Million Series A Funding Round For ClearDekho – SphitiCap, an early-stage sector agnostic fund, has led the Series A funding round for ClearDekho, an affordable eyewear brand.The round also includes investments from Venture Catalysts (leading alongside SphitiCap), Dholakia Ventures, NB Ventures, Estrela Ventures, Cornerstone, and others. Of the total $5 million raised, SphitiCap is infusing $2.3 million in the company, with a vision to support its operations and expansion strategy.

TSOLife Closes Series A Funding to Provide Senior Living Operators More Advanced Decision-Making Tools – TSOLifeInc., the only AI-based business intelligence platform that translates resident intake data into actionable insights that help communities create individualized experiences, announced today that it completed a $9 million Series A funding round. Arnie Whitman, a long-time venture investor in senior care and technology, Executive Chairman at Formation Capital and Founding Partner at Generator Ventures led the round to help accelerate the development of TSOLife’s next-generation Minerva platform. Omega Healthcare Investors, Inc. and Ziegler Link-age Fund III joined the round as well.  

Retail enablement company Zid closes Series BSaudi Arabia-based Zid, which stylises itself as a retail enablement company, has raised $50m for its Series B funding round.

IMPACT46 served as the lead investor to the round. Commitments also came from Aramco’s venture capital arm Waed Ventures and Endeavour Catalyst. Previous investors Global Ventures, Elm Company, Arzan and MSA also joined the round.
