PaxeraHealth Closes Series A Funding RoundPaxeraHealth, a Boston, MA-based medical imaging and AI developer, raised a Series A funding of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Sopris Capital.

EnginZyme raises €21 million in Series B to accelerate the commercialisation of its cell-free biomanufacturing technology – EnginZyme, a green tech company developing biomanufacturing processes for the sustainable manufacturing of everyday products, announced today that it had raised €21 million in a Series B financing round. New investors, including Almi Invest GreenTech, Navigare Ventures and Bunge Ventures, join existing investors Sofinnova Partners, Industrifonden and SEB GreenTech VC in the funding round.

BetterManager Raises $16M in Series A FundingBetterManager, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a virtual leadership development platform, raised $16M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Education Growth Partners, with participation from Polar Capital Group.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its efforts to scale its platform.

Protillion Biosciences Closes $18M Series A Round – Biotech firm Protillion Biosciences said Monday it has closed an $18 million Series A financing round funded by Arch Venture Partners and Illumina Ventures.

The Burlingame, California-based company said it will use the funds to drive development of its technology for identifying and optimizing new protein therapeutics. The technology can characterize the binding affinity of around 1 million antibody variants in two-day automated experiments, according to the firm, providing antibody binding information with amino acid-level resolution at high throughput.

Plooto Raises $20M USD in Series B FundingPlooto, a leader in end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) automation software for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), announced the closing of $20M USD ($27M CAD) in Series B funding. The all-equity round was led by Centana Growth Partners, a specialized growth equity firm that invests in the future of finance, with participation from existing investors FINTOP Capital and Luge Capital.

Web3 Privacy Layer Aztec Raises $100 Million in Series B Funding Round to Produce an Encrypted Version of Ethereum – Web3 privacy-focused layer Aztec raised $100 million on Dec. 15 as part of its Series B funding round. The resources raised during this round, which was led by a16z crypto with the participation of A Capital, King River, Variant, SV Angel, Hash Key, Fenbushi, and AVG, will be used on building a high-level encrypted version of Ethereum.

Blocknative lands $15m in Series A-1 investmentCalifornia-based Blocknative, a web3 infrastructure business, has scored $15m in a Series A-1 funding raise.

Investors in the round included Blockchain Capital, Foundry Group, Rho, IOSG Ventures, Robot Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, HackVC, and Industry Ventures.

According to FinSME, Blocknative has developed an infrastructure platform that enables validators and searchers to optimize staking rewards and trading profit. Its Transaction Orchestration platform prices, previews, distributes and monitors transactions so web3 users can transact with confidence.
