The round, led by Cambium Capital and Celesta Capital, provides vital funds needed to support the company’s future product roadmap, including the expansion to new platforms and hyperscalers, as well as the development of a self-service marketplace. Funds will also be allocated toward marketing and recruitment efforts to further fuel brand awareness among enterprise customers while supporting necessary organizational growth among Exotanium’s engineering team.
Laika Raises $50M in Series C Funding – Laika, a New York-based provider of a complete compliance platform, raised $50m in Series C funding.
The round was led by Fin Capital, with participation from Centana Growth Partners, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Canapi, and ThirdPrime. The Series C round brings Laika’s total funding to $98m.

Abu Dhabi Fintech Startup Raises $20 Million in Series B Funding Round – Abu Dhabi-based fintech, Pyypl, announced on Nov. 7 that it had raised $20 million in Series B funding and this brought the total of funds raised to nearly $40 million. Pyypl has said it plans to use the recently raised funds to develop and add new features to its proprietary technology. The company further wants to assist “800 million financially underserved smartphone users” from the region through virtual and physical prepaid cards.

Blockchain intelligence firm TRM Labs raises $70M in expanded Series B round – Blockchain-based intelligence company TRM Labs announced on Nov. 9 a $70 million expansion to its Series B funding round, bringing the total raised to $130 million. Series B investor Thoma Bravo, among the world’s largest private equity firms, manages more than $122 billion in assets.
The round was led by Thoma Bravo, with Goldman Sachs and previous TRM investors PayPal Ventures, Amex Ventures and Citi Ventures participating. The expansion follows TRM’s $60 Million Series B raise in December 2021 led by Tiger Global.
Fathom Secures $46M Series B Financing – Fathom, the leader in medical coding automation, today announced the closing of a $46 million Series B financing led by Alkeon Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Cedars-Sinai, Vituity’s Inflect Health, ApolloMD as well as existing investors Founders Fund and Tarsadia. Galym Imanbayev, M.D., Partner at Lightspeed, and Mark McLaughlin, General Partner at Alkeon Capital, will join the Fathom Board of Directors. The Series B round brings Fathom’s total funding to $61 million.
