Inclined Announces $15 Million Series A Funding Round – Inclined Technologies Inc., a financial technology company that aims to democratize a $150 billion market by helping consumers to significantly enhance the value of their life insurance policies, today announced it has closed on a $15 million Series A funding round. HSCM Ventures led the round, with participation from Anthemis Group as well as several new and existing investors.

Leuko Raises $5M in Series A Funding

Leuko, an MIT startup developing a solution that enables at-home noninvasive white blood cell (WBC) monitoring, announced a first closing of $5m for their Series A round.

The new funding came HTH VC, Good Growth Capital, IAG Capital Partners, Nina Capital, and angel investors.

Aura Bora closes Series A funding round

Aura Bora, a maker of sparkling waters flavored with fruits, herbs and flowers, closed its Series A funding round, bringing total financing to more than $10 million. The new capital will support efforts to expand retail distribution and brand awareness and enhance operational capabilities.

Married co-founders Paul and Maddie Voge launched the business three years ago.

Somewear Labs Raises $13.7M Series A Round – Somewear Labs, the enabler of critical communications for the world’s most important organizations, today announced it has raised $13.7 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by a group of over a dozen current and former Fortune 500 CEOs and legendary investors, chaired by David Dorman (former CEO of AT&T and former Chairman of Motorola), and including Egon Durban (Co-CEO of Silver Lake Partners), Sam Palmisano (former IBM CEO), Chuck Robbins (CEO of Cisco), and Scott Sandell (Managing Partner at NEA).

Join Ventures Raises $23.5 Million in Series B Funding Round – Join Ventures on Thursday announced to have raised $23.5 million in a Series B funding round led by MO Alternate Investment Advisors. The round also witnessed participation by Convivialité Ventures, Pernod Ricard’s VC arm and existing investors DSG Consumer Partners, Venture Catalysts, ZNL Growth and HNI investors. Funds will be utilized to enhance technology and expand its captive dark stores’ network to drive the growth of its portfolio brands.
